Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Little Nap, without the legalese.
Last updated 25 April 2026
Agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and us about your use of Little Nap. By creating an account or using the app, you’re accepting them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the app.
About this service
Little Nap is a baby sleep tracker based in Stockholm, Sweden. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the service, and “you” and “your” refer to you — the person using the app.
You can reach us at [email protected].
Eligibility
You need to be 18 or older to create an account, and you need to be the parent or legal guardian of any baby whose information you enter. If you’re accepting these terms on behalf of another adult — a co-parent or partner — you also confirm you have permission to do so.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for any activity on your account. One account per person, please. Let us know at [email protected] if you think someone else has gained access.
What Little Nap is
Little Nap is a tool for tracking your baby’s sleep, spotting patterns over time, and getting gentle guidance about the next nap or bedtime. Depending on your subscription, it may also include an AI Sleep Coach, Smart Log (natural-language sleep logging), prediction, trend charts, routine suggestions, custom wind-down rituals, and other features.
We may change, improve, or remove features over time. We try hard not to remove things you’ve come to rely on without a good reason, but we can’t promise any specific feature will exist forever.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions to Little Nap are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. Pricing and billing dates are shown before you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing or cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID subscription settings on your iPhone (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases according to its own policies. You can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We don’t charge you directly. We never store or process your payment card information.
Your content
The information you enter in Little Nap — your baby’s name and date of birth, photos, sleep sessions, tags, notes — belongs to you. We don’t claim any ownership over it.
To operate the app, you give us a limited permission to store your content on our servers, process it so features like prediction and the Sleep Coach can work, and display it back to you and to any caregiver you’ve explicitly invited to a baby. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You’re responsible for the content you enter and for making sure you have the right to share it with any caregiver you invite.
Caregiver sharing
Little Nap lets you invite another caregiver to a baby using a short invite code. Once they accept, they can see that baby’s profile, sleep history, and handoff notes, and they can add their own sessions and notes.
You decide who to invite and you can revoke a share at any time. We aren’t responsible for what a caregiver you’ve invited does with the information you’ve shared with them; that’s a relationship between the two of you.
AI-generated content
The Sleep Coach and Smart Log use a third-party AI model accessed through our backend. Sleep Coach answers questions about your baby’s sleep; Smart Log turns a natural-language description (for example, “napped 1 to 2:30”) into a proposed sleep session you can accept or edit. Output is generated by software, not written by a person, and it can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Read it critically and use your own judgment. It is not medical advice — see the next section.
Not medical advice
Little Nap is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, cure, or monitor any health condition. Sleep guidance in the app and responses from the Sleep Coach are general information based on sleep-tracking patterns, age-based guidelines, and the information you’ve entered — not personalised medical advice.
Every baby is different. If you have any concern about your baby’s sleep, breathing, weight, development, or general health, talk to a pediatrician or qualified health professional. Don’t use Little Nap as a substitute for a medical consultation, and don’t delay seeking medical help because of something you read in the app.
Acceptable use
When using Little Nap, please don’t:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code of the app beyond what’s permitted by law.
- Use the service in a way that interferes with its normal operation or with other users’ access.
- Misuse the caregiver-sharing feature — for example, generating invite codes to share with people you don’t actually want to give access.
- Upload anything unlawful, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Use the app to collect information about other people without their agreement.
Intellectual property
The Little Nap name, logo, website, and the app itself — its code, design, copy, and visual elements — are our property, protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms don’t grant you any rights to our brand, and you shouldn’t use it to suggest we endorse something when we haven’t.
You keep the rights to your content, as described in Your content.
Third-party services
Little Nap relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, AI features, subscriptions, app distribution, notifications, support, and security. Where you interact with a provider directly — for example, signing in with Apple or Google, or buying a subscription through the Apple App Store — that provider’s terms apply as well. Other providers operate on our backend and are engaged under data-processing agreements.
Termination
You can stop using Little Nap and delete your account at any time from inside the app at Settings → Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after.
We can suspend or terminate access to the service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if we’re required to by law, or if keeping your account would pose a safety or security risk. We’ll give you reasonable notice where we can, but not when doing so would itself cause harm.
Disclaimers
Little Nap is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep it working reliably, but we can’t promise:
- That the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- That any specific prediction, insight, or piece of guidance will be accurate.
- That your baby will sleep better because of the app (sleep is complicated).
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties that aren’t expressly granted here — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Little Nap, including lost sleep, lost data, or lost opportunity. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) €50.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for things that can’t be limited by law — such as personal injury caused by our negligence or our own fraud.
Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims brought against us by third parties that arise from content you entered into the app or from your misuse of the service, to the extent those claims aren’t caused by our own wrongdoing.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the Last updated date at the top of this page changes, and the new version takes effect when published. For material updates, we’ll surface a notice in the app so you can read what’s new before continuing.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes will be resolved in the Swedish courts, unless a law that applies to you requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these terms takes away the mandatory rights given to you by the law of your country of residence. You keep every consumer-protection right you’d have anyway, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your home country if the law there lets you.
